Shah joins Cabinet meeting to pay homage to MoS Suresh Angadi

New Delhi, Sep 24 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday joined Union Cabinet meeting, Chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to pay homage to Minister of States for Railway Suresh Angadi via video-conferencing.
Taking to twitter, he said, “Joined Union Cabinet via video conferencing to pay tributes & offer condolences on the sad demise of our colleague and a distinguished public servant, Shri Suresh Angadi ji”.
‘May god give strength to the bereaved family to withstand this loss. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti,’ the Home Minister added in his tweet message.
Angadi passed away on Wednesday evening at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday evening due to Coronavirus infection. He was tested Covid-19 positive before the commencement of Monsoon session of Parliament.

Late Angadi was the first Cabinet Minister and fourth BJP Member of Parliament who succumbed to Covid-19 infection.
On September 11, he announced on the twitter that he was contracted with Corona virus and requested all who came in his contact to get them isolated.
