- The government has released guidelines for partial reopening of schools for students of Classes 9-12 on a voluntary basis for taking guidance from teachers from September 21.
- The Delhi High Court on Tuesday said doctor’s prescription won’t be required anymore for asymptomatic patients to undergo COVID-19 testing in Delhi.
- Hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs are going to open in Delhi from Wednesday among the ever increasing patients of Corona infection. They will be opened on trial for the first twenty days. After this the decision will be reviewed and it will be carried forward after everything is done according to the Kovid protocol.
- PM Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of Govind Swarup, who pioneered radio astronomy in India, saying that he was an exceptional scientist and his works attained global commendation.
