New Delhi, July 18 : Deputy Chief Minister (CM) Manish Sisodia approved Rs 6.56 crore worth project on Monday to facilitate the uninterrupted water supply to central government organisations’ buildings being constructed in Maidangarhi and Rajpur Khurd Village, a statement issued from his office said. The areas have 9 buildings, including institutional and residential complexes of South Asian University (SAU), NIC, Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DEITY), Urban Institute of India (UII), Central Armed Forces Institute of Medical Science (CAFIMS), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Staff Quarters, Delhi Police Staff Quarters, Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) Staff Quarters, Indian Institute of Foriegn Trade (IIFT), National Investigation Agency (NIA) residential complexes.

Jammu, February 23rd 2022:- The three days capacity building programme for Prosecution Officers and Investigation officers of Jammu Zone and State Investigation Agency ( SIA) in collaboration with National Investigation agency (NIA) started at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground Jammu here today. This training programme is in sequel to training programmes conducted by NIA earlier. Shri A. K. Choudhary-IPS Special DG Crime, J&K was the chief guest on the inaugural session.

The searches are namely being conducted at four places by the NIA in Srinagar and Shopian districts of Kashmir, they said. Police and CRPF are assisting the NIA.

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday said that it has conducted raids at four places in Madurai District in Tamil Nadu in connection with a case relating to the incriminating social media post by an extremist Md Iqbal, advocating ideology of Islamic State of Syria and Iraq (ISIS) and a proscribed organisation Hizb- Ut- Tahrir. The searches were conducted at Kazimar Street, K Pudur, Pethaniyapuram and Mehaboob Palayam in Madurai and during the search, 16 digital devices including Laptop, Hard Disks, Mobile Phones, Memory cards, SIMs, Pen drive and many incriminating books / pamphlets / documents have been recovered.

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) The NIA on Wednesday said that the Delhi Patiala House Court has convicted the accused Bahadur Ali alias Saifullah Mansoor, a Pakistani national belonging to Lashkar-e- Taiba (LeT) under sections 120B, 121A, 489 (C) of IPC, sections 17,18,20,38 of UA(P) Act.

New Delhi, Mar 25 (UNI) The anti- terror probe agency NIA on Thursday said that it has conducted multiple raids in West Bengal and Jharkhand in connection with Nimtita Railway Station bomb blast case. According to the probe agency officials, the NIA sleuths raided the premises of Biyon SK and Mohammudin SK aka Mohan Kasai in Murshidabad in West Bengal and at the premises of accused Shahidul Islam at Majhgaon in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.

New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) The anti-terror probe agency NIA on Monday said that it has filed a charge sheet against three terror accused Hizb-ul-Mujahideen operatives Shaheen Ahmad Lone, Tafazul Hussain Parimoo and Waheed-ur-Rahman Para under various sections of IPC, UAPA and Explosive Substances Act in a Jammu special court in connection with suspended Jammu and Kashmir Police officer Devender Singh case.

New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday said that it has filed a charge sheet against seven Khalistani operatives under section 120B of IPC, sections 4 & 5 of Explosive Substances Act and sections 13, 17, 18, 18B, 19, 20 and 23 of UA (P) Act in the NIA Special Court, Mohali, Punjab for their alleged involvement in a case pertaining to recovery of two Hand Grenades and one Samsung mobile phone from a bag in Amritsar on June 2, 2019.
