New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday announced by-election to one vacant seat of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council on March 15. The seat got vacated due to the death of member Challa Ramakrishna Reddy on January 1, 2021.
The notification will be issued on February 25 while the polling will be held on March 15, Monday, from 0900hrs to 1600 hrs with Covid-19 protocols in place. The counting will take place from 1700 hrs on the same day, the ECI said.
The tenure of the vacant post is till March 29, 2023.
